Kata Kata (online) Cartoon Magazine is based in Almere, The Netherlands. Being conscious of the fact that there is no place like home, we know those typical nostalgic feelings cropping up now and then while you are away from Mama African home. We are talking of those unique jokes, stories, expressions, idiom, ideas ….. (you name them) you sometimes miss.
As the only English speaking cartoon magazine in diaspora, which solely focuses on African audience, Kata Kata aims specifically at curing your nostalgic sickness by bringing weekly those irresistible African stories and ideas in a cartoon form.
Furthermore, through social networks, we try to keep those cultural realities alive by stimulating personal interactions and exchange of ideas amongst the readers.
In a jovial, funny and yet satirical manner, Kata Kata tries to relieve your stress by relaxing you a bit with those undiluted Mama African nostalgic funny stories, jokes and everyday realities you miss while abroad. More than that, Kata Kata offers a maxim that life is perhaps not all about seriousness. One needs some laughs and relaxation to face serious challenges in life.
Welcome on board Kata Kata. Sit up and get ready for a laugh……..
